Govt. of West Bengal raises Age limit for appearing for State Civil Service Exams

For aspirants who haven’t been able to appear for West Bengal state civil service exams there is fresh opportunity now. In January 2017 the government of West Bengal issued a fresh decree whereby the upper age limit for the general category has been increased for Group A and B Category officials. Earlier on the upper age limit for appearing for these exams was 32 years. From now on those of the age of 36 years can make an application. The state is scheduled to release a notification to the effect shortly. So we’ll come to know about the rules in detail, including the relaxation limit for those who belong to the SC/ST and OBCs.In fact the age limit for C and D category jobs, the age limit has apparently been increased to 40.
